Amy’s Background

HOW DID YOU GET INTO THE INDUSTRY THAT YOU ARE IN NOW?

My curiosity of the human mind and passion for the sciences led me to study Medicine where I was able to combine both. Women’s wellbeing in particular was always of interest and so I specialised as an OBGYN, allowing me to explore the female journey even further.

I found myself becoming disappointed that I could not offer more to patients and felt we could do better. Embarking on Lifestyle medicine and precision health gave me a glimpse of what was possible by giving women agency, education and alternative options, and this is what I believe the future of medicine will look like.
