HOW TO BE COACHED AT A CASTLE
AND FORAGE FOR A FEAST ON THE COAST
The Perfect Antidote to Zoom Fatigue
Guests at an Executive Coaching retreat at Llansteffan Castle will be encouraged to forage for their supper, enjoying natures finest, freshest delicacies where it will then be cooked by their guide.
Marian Evans who founded Elevate BC, the executive coaching and business consultancy in 2017 is launching a new retreat package for organisations looking to take business away from the office to inspire new ways of thinking, to obtain fresh perspective whilst developing motivation and teamwork. Amongst other areas, it’s also the perfect antidote to what is a consequence of our new virtual world and is commonly being referred to as Zoom Fatigue.Click here to contact us and discover how we create the perfect experience for you and / or your team
It just so happens that Marian has the perfect venue, the incredible 12th century Llansteffan Castle situated right at the mouth of the Towy Estuary and set above a beautiful golden beach.
An award-winning entrepreneur, Marian who was awarded inspirational woman of the decade has dedicated her consultancy to helping individuals and teams unlock their potential. Through coaching, mentoring, facilitation and consultancy, the consultancy boasts some of the UK’s top execs amongst its client base.
The coastal foraging element will be provided by leading UK coastal forager, the enigmatic Craig Evans – a man who has taken foraging to a new level through his highly successful YouTube Channel. Here he can be found showcasing his finds to millions of engaged viewers around the world.
Guests at the retreat are taken for a walk in the surrounding coastline to hunt for food which might include Clams, Cockles, sea vegetables including Marsh Samphire, Crabs, Mussels and more, depending on the time of year.
On their journey he will also delve into the fascinating history of the Castle, the shoreline and Llansteffan Village, immersing the amateur foragers in the local culture.
As part of the wild experience Craig then cooks up their finds, allowing for a taste of the freshest produce the Welsh coast has to offer, the fact that you can’t be certain what you might find does of course make it all the more interesting.
Marian added, “The opportunity to develop these executive coaching retreats where individuals can come to escape and acquire the skills needed to further develop themselves and their team for future success is incredibly exciting. Combining the coaching elements with those shared by Craig allows our retreats to offer guests more than just space away from highly stressful lifestyles. The overall experience assists in the recovery of mental, emotional and physical well-being with the unique and memorable environment of the Castle’s location. Furthermore, with the space we have available we can with complete confidence comply with current social distancing measures which is of huge reassurance those people who have already made enquiries.”
Over the last twelve months Marian has guided the consultancy to significant growth brining in highly qualified specialist associates to ensure a first-class experience for each client. Elevate BC is unmatched in its market and maintains a reputation for excellence an ethos that runs passionately throughout the whole team.
Developing this new area of the business Marian is also keen to offer other alternative retreats featuring activities such as Paddle Boarding, Yoga, cookery, painting and more.
Laying the foundations for a thrilling future, the first of the retreats will move Elevate BC and Llansteffan Castle forward to an exciting future. Foraging and Coaching, it’s certainly food for thought.
